The event was held at Meeting Room 3, 3rd Floor, Innovation Building, Office of Agricultural Economics, and was presided over by Mr. Peeraphan Korthong, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>July 16, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the morning session, participants listened to topics including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fundamental concepts of policy uncertainty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) Index (Baker, Bloom, Davis)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of the EPU index<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Political Uncertainty Index in Thailand<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop: Accessing the EPU database<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the afternoon session, participants listened to topics including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Channels of impact on the business sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Channels of impact on the household sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Impacts on the macroeconomy (GDP growth, production index, imports, and exports)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EPU as a financial market confidence index<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linkages with commodity markets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research case studies on EPU and stock markets, EPU and oil prices, and EPU and agricultural prices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>July 17, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the morning session, participants listened to topics including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Related model concepts \u2014 Macroeconomic: AutoRegressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Model, Vector AutoRegression (VAR); Microeconomic: Panel data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop: Analysis using VAR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop: Analysis using panel models<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the afternoon session, participants listened to topics including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Related model concepts \u2014 Forecasting models: ARIMAX, ARDL;
