On August 4, 2026, Mr. Peeraphan Kothong, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), together with Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2 Phitsanulok), and personnel from the Agricultural Information Division, attended the meeting on surveying cassava production and trade conditions for the 2026\/27 crop year. The meeting was held at The Imperial Hotel and Convention Centre Phitsanulok, with Mr. Boonchai Srichaiyongpanich, Chairman of the Survey Committee, presiding over the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was attended by representatives from relevant sectors, including the Thai Tapioca Trade Association, the Thai Tapioca Products Factory Association, the Thai Tapioca Starch Association, the Northeastern Tapioca Factory Association, local entrepreneurs, and government agencies\u2014including the Provincial Commerce Offices and Provincial Agriculture Offices of Phitsanulok, Tak, Uttaradit, Phrae, Nan, and Sukhothai. The purpose was to exchange information on the cassava production and trade situation, gather supporting data for yield estimation, and monitor the cassava situation for the 2026\/27 crop year to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reflection of actual conditions. The compiled data will serve as a valuable resource for both government agencies and private sector entrepreneurs in planning future cassava production and trade strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
