On June 2, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned officers from the Research and Evaluation Division to organize a focus group meeting. The session was held under the project “Market Opportunity Creation for Eco-Friendly Processed Agricultural Products Using Agricultural Technology and Innovation (Agri-Tech): A Case Study of Avocado Products.”
The meeting took place at the Ruam Thai Phattana 8 Village Hall, Moo 6, Ruam Thai Phattana Sub-district, Phop Phra District, Tak Province, and was chaired by Mr. Warit Chusakul, Director of the Research and Evaluation Division.
Meeting Objectives
The focus group aimed to gather feedback, recommendations, and exchange data among farmers, entrepreneurs, public and private sector representatives, and stakeholders across the avocado supply chain to collectively analyze:
- Current production, processing, and marketing dynamics.
- Opportunities and constraints in developing processed avocado products to sustainably fulfill market demands and add value to agricultural commodities.
Research Presentations & Policy Development
During the session, the research team presented an overview of the avocado industry along with preliminary research frameworks applied to local avocado processing community enterprises, including:
- Supply Chain Management
- Value Chain Analysis
- Business Model Canvas (BMC)
This foundational data will be utilized to formulate policy proposals and development frameworks for eco-friendly processed agricultural products. By leveraging agricultural technology and innovation as pivotal tools, the initiative aims to enhance the competitive capabilities of Thai farmers and agribusiness entrepreneurs. The insights and suggestions gained from this meeting will be integrated into a comprehensive study to drive sustainable avocado product development and capture high-potential market opportunities in the future.
